Its origins, significance etc. The earliest I've read of Dastar bandi happening was under the Tughlaq Empire reign wherein Ghazi Malik brought his son and nephew (Muhammed bin tughlaq and Firoz Shah) to the shrine of Baba Farid in pakpattan to do the Dastar Bandi.
